online sex counseling for men, women, and couples

Talking to a Therapist Online

There are many benefits to online therapy, and because of my work with chronic pain and physically immobile people I actually have several years of pre-pandemic experience conducting online sessions.

Many clients reap benefits both from working with an online pain coach as well as an online sex therapist.

In doing that work I’ve noticed strong upsides to online therapy. For starters it is tremendously convenient if you live in a large city, where dealing with parking and traffic can be so stressful that it can practically undo the supportive aspects of the session! You can participate in the sessions anywhere that you get a strong internet connection. If you have any reservations about sitting in a waiting room with people who might recognize you, or have strong social anxiety and discomfort around being in the physical presence of people, online sessions will work great for you.

If the online aspect of online sex therapy is really holding you back, feel free to schedule the 20-minute free consultation session with me and we can give it a shot. Be open to possibilities and you may be surprised by the results (we’re already working on things!).

Online Sex Therapy for Erectile Dysfunction

When penises don’t cooperate with us, our egos can really take a blow.

While a lot of online advertisements would have you regard variance in erections as a completely physical issue requiring medical intervention, a good rule of thumb is that if you can get a firm erection when you masturbate and only struggle in the presence of your partner(s), you’re probably physically okay, and it’s time to examine other things.

The same logic applies to ejaculation, e.g. if you are able to ejaculate when you masturbate, and/or slow down your ejaculation with slowing down, pausing, breathing, etc., there is likely potential for you to improve without medical interventions.

Don’t get me wrong - Viagra and other physical procedures like penile injections and implants have been a step forward with erectile dysfunction, and they give patients real options. In fact, I discuss them with experts on my podcast. That said, I commonly see clients who become aware that medical treatment alone cannot tap into the most powerful physical force in erectile function - the human mind.

Online sex therapy for erectile dysfunction offers you the ability to grow sexually, learn sexual skills, develop the ability to talk comfortably about sex, and improve your understanding of your sexual self in general.

With committed practice, you can become more sexually engaged, and your sexual confidence and enjoyment of sex and intimacy can expand substantially.
