If possible, use your laptop or desktop for the sessions, as it’s easier on the eyes than just a smartphone.
Place the device at eye-level, in a place where you can sit comfortably and see and hear clearly.
If you live with someone, try to ask for an hour of privacy. Some clients download “white noise” apps to their smartphones and place them by the door for the duration of the sessions.
