 Training, Expertise, and Clinical Approach

Tim is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a master’s degree from the University of Southern California and more than 10,000 clinical hours dedicated to the intersection of neuroscience, sexuality, and human connection. His expertise includes:

Tim’s work integrates neuroscience, sexual psychophysiology, somatic and autonomic regulation, attachment theory, and evidence-based modalities such as ACT, CBT, DBT, and psychodynamic therapy. His background in pain psychology further informs his precision in treating mind–body patterns that shape sexual experience.

He also supervises emerging sex therapists and remains actively involved in the Los Angeles therapeutic community. His approach is discreet, ethical, and rooted in the belief that sexual wellbeing is essential to human life.

A Quiet, Trusted Presence in Los Angeles

Tim works with individuals and couples whose personal, relational, or professional lives require the highest degree of confidentiality and care. His practice is intentionally boutique allowing for individualized attention, thoughtful pacing, and highly attuned clinical focus.

A Therapist Rooted in Human Connection

He treats sexual issues as adaptive nervous-system patterns shaped by experience, meaning, and relationship, patterns that can change with the right understanding.

Tim was born and raised in Los Angeles, where he now lives with his family. His work is shaped by his curiosity, compassion, and his conviction that everyone deserves access to clarity, confidence, and ease in their sexual lives.

Whether in individual therapy, couples work, intensives, professional supervision, or educational projects, Tim’s mission remains constant:

to bring modern sexual science, emotional depth, and relational wisdom together so people can feel whole again in their bodies, in their relationships, and within themselves.
