Writing

Tim Norton’s writing brings a rare clinical perspective to one of the most misunderstood areas of modern life: male sexuality. His work challenges the narrow way sexual difficulty is often discussed, as a problem of performance, technique, confidence, or chemistry alone, and offers a more complete understanding of how desire, arousal, shame, empathy, attachment, and the nervous system shape a man’s intimate life.

Drawing from relational psychology, evidence-based neuroscience and more than ten thousand hours of clinical work with men and couples, Tim is currently completing a manuscript on male sexuality, desire, empathy, and connection in modern relationships. Alongside the book, he writes ongoing essays on exploring the patterns beneath sexual struggle and the conditions that allow confidence, vitality, and intimacy to return.
